Staff must check-in on Saturday at 2pm for a 3pm all-hands meeting
and stay on property through to your week’s closing ceremony Friday morning at 11am
Please ensure these 5 steps are completed before arrival at LWBC at 2pm on Saturday.

1. Download & Read your camp manual

The Staff Manual is routinely updated so please re-read it each year.

2. Camp Counselor Quiz

Sign up and complete this ClassMaker quiz each year before camp begins. It tests your knowledge of the camp manual from step 1.

3. Ministry Safe Training

If you have not completed Ministry Safe within the past 24 months, please click this link to complete the video course. If you are a repeat user and have trouble signing-in, refer to your previous Ministry Safe email for your ‘login link’

4. Packing List

You can view & download a recommended packing list at this link.

5. Important Information

The week of Bible camp will end Friday morning at 11am with a short award ceremony & video presentation.
Please stay to help clean the lodge once parents exit if you are able.

All counselors are invited to stay over Friday night after their week of counseling. A head count will be needed on Thursday for the kitchen. Those working 2 consecutive weeks will be expected to stay over Friday night unless you inform us otherwise. When staying over, expect to assist with meals and cleaning.
If you are not working the coming week, you should plan to depart by noon on Saturday to make room for the incoming staff. 
Mementos: You will receive a printed bunk & group photo each week along with an online video. Many campers enjoy signing their camp t-shirts also, so bring some sharpies!

EXAMINE YOURSELF: You will be more effective with your campers if you have taken time for self reflection before camp begins. Please make sure you are well-rested and prepared spiritually and emotionally to  minister to the children in your care.
